Good Friday
April 3, 2026 - Pastor Harry Zurasky
*Call To Worship
Leader: Slowly, we come to worship on the holy Friday.
People: Reluctantly, we hear the story of Jesus' suffering
Leader: In this holy week, on this holy night, we come to be present with Jesus in his suffering.
People: With the glory of Palm Sunday behind us and the victory of Easter not yet come, we gather with our broken hearts.
All: Let us worship God who, even on this day, is never far from us.
* Opening Prayer (Unison)
God of power and mercy,
in love you sent your Son
that we might be cleansed of sin
and live with you forever.
Bless us as we gather to reflect
on his suffering and death
that we may learn from his example
the way we should go.
People: We ask this through that same Christ, our Lord.
Amen
