Our sympathies to Ken & Susie Johnson on the passing of his brother Richard and to Laurie Shearer family on the passing of her husband, Don.
The service for Don Shearer is Sat, Aug 22 here at the church. Calling hours are at 10 am with the service at 11 am. Lunch will follow and we are providing pop, water and coffee for the family. Laurie said the menu is a hoagie ring, macaroni salad, pasta salad and cake.
Today August 16, Townville UMC invited us to a picnic at 1:00 pm at Wheelock's Pavilion in Townville. Bring a dish to share and a good time.
This week is Crawford Gives starting Wed August 19-21. Our Food For Thought hunger outreach is part of it again. Please plan to give a gift of money to support this free rural outreach. You can pay by credit card or drop off a check at: 415 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335 or Mail to: PO Box 933, Meadville, PA 16335. They will also have contribution forms at their office.
