𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝟑:𝟏𝟗
𝟏𝟗 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐝, 𝐬𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝,
When we finally repent there is a relief that comes from God. We have all at times found ourselves keeping a secret that we know needs to come out. When this happens, we are so relieved to no longer keep hiding that truth. We have all sinned. And you know what, even though we try to hide that fact from everyone God already knows.
On Day 5 I shared a poem “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴”. I have always held that the man in the glass is God’s Holy Spirit. The Spirit knows all and wishes to help you heal from that sin. But to heal one must first admit there is something wrong. And with that repentance and God’s forgiveness through grace comes the 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 joy that can only be known by accepting God’s grace.
