𝟑𝟕𝐃𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐝. 𝐃𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐧𝐞𝐝. 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧.
We need to all remember that none of us is perfect. That each of us has our faults and our shortcomings and that God’s mercy is there for each of us. It is when we act as God would with mercy and grace are we truly disciples of Jesus.
The picture I picked was to remind us of the adage that when you point a finger of blame at another then there are three pointing back at you. That we need to remember what Jesus told the crowd that wanted to stone the woman for adultery in:
𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟖:𝟕𝐛𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫.”
And that forgiveness must always be a two-way street.
